      My orville does not have any a rear panel RJ45 socket. But reading the EVE/NET manual it says that Orvilles will be one of two types:

      1) With RJ45 EVE/NET socket mounted on motherboard.
      2) With RJ45 EVE/NET socket mounted on plug-in option card.

      Does this mean it will be possible to use my Orville with an EVE/NET or not? If not; will it be possible with some "connector-engineering" inside the unit  to get the necessary RJ45 socket available for an EVE/NET?

      It's more than just a socket, I'm afraid – there is a bunch of electronics as well.

      Back in the mists of time we used to do a plugin card, but it is long discontinued.
