      Hi

I am using a Timefactor in line after an Eclipse (in stereo).

I have switched the input level on the Timefactor to "line" but have to set the output of the Eclipse to around -20dB to prevent the Overload LEDs on the Timefactor from being lit all the time.

Is this normal (as seems Timefactor is set a little too sensitive) and is there a way of altering this further?

      Cheers,

      Dave

An Eclipse has a much higher potential output level than a TF, in order to give it a lot of headroom in normal use.

You can choose how hard you drive the Eclipse, and also set its output gain, as you have already discovered. So, you should be able to set it up for best performance without too much difficulty.
