H8000FW and firewire

      The second firewireport on the H8000FW – is it set up to relay the first FWport? In this case is there any latency to consider, i.e any preferred order of the H8000FW and another dedicated FWaudiointerface, when setting up a firewirechain? 

      Or are they the two ports  simply Firewire 1 and 2, as referred to in the Routingapplication?

      The second port is similar to the first, so essentially the two ports you mention in the second paragraph.

      You can use one of these ports to relay the other (don' t know why you would). We don't have figure for the latency between the ports – I would guess that it would only be a small number of samples.
