Has anyone gotten H9 control to work with Windows 7? Or does it not work at all? Just got my H9 and it says I get a Free Algorithm, but it appears I get it through the H9 Control?
I've tried USB and Midi connection. Midi will crash the H9 control program.

The H9 control works fine on my Windows 7 (similar specs to yours); the only thing is that the Listen option in the Store does not work. Everything is updated and connected correctly, and Jerome from Customer Service (kudos to Jerome) went through it with me, but it never worked. The simple work-around is to use the Try option which works perfectly.
I have not used the Midi, but the USB connection is solid with the H9 Control panel.

That's good to hear. Do you know what the problem was that you were having? As Duncan21 mentioned, H9 Control does work fine on Windows 7, although every now and then we do hear from people whose H9 doesn't appear as a MIDI device on Windows… This is the first time though we've heard of a problem like the one you described. Do you know what it was?

Once I registered the H9 the midi worked! However, the usb just wouldn't work on my desktop pc, laptop was fine!
