  I am seeking a way to clue my drummer in on the tempo so im not trying to lead him. Is there a way to hear the tempo click?

  There is no direct click output. Maybe you should think about MIDI …

  yep. Using midi this would be trivial.
  
  OR.. you could just let him have line-of-sight to the tempo light?
