Humm, I believe that should be possible with a true (not chinese) class 1 bluetooth dongle. I'm using the common "miniature" dongle with a specified range of max 20 feet and a "real" range of about 5 feet max (with no clouds or rain).

Class 1 bluetooth are rated for up to 100 feet. Given that it should work well at 25% of the max rated distance, one could assume that a class 1 dongle will work fine under "real life scenarios" for up to 25 feet… YMMV.
