Maybe you could try an adapter converter like this one :
It’s done to convert the Apple headphone system (OMTP protocol) with other stuff using CTIA protocol (Sony, Motorola, LG… and maybe also Eventide Mixing Link). It resolve the problem of Ground and Mic.
Please someone from Eventide can confirm that this type of converter could do the job ?
