As I’ve been programming more in VSIG, I’ve been finding the online documentation frustrating at times, and wanted a way to add application notes, for my own records, so I built a reference guide from the database.  I’m finding it really handy, so have made it available to other VSIG programmers.

You can download it from https://godlike.com.au/index.php?id=420. It’s under the manuals section in the right margin called VSIG Module Unofficial Reference.

As a lot of the information was automatically generated, checked and then edited, but I may have missed stuff so there may still be some errors in the documentation. If you come across any errors or formatting issues, please let me know (preferably with a page number) and I’ll fix it up.  I’ll keep updating my comments as I keep programming and will likely release updates in the future.

I probably won’t rebuild this from scratch unless there are major changes to the database, as pulling stuff out of the json file was a bit of a nightmare, and it will be easier for me to update intermediate csv files or the document itself.

Hopefully its useful to you all.

I’ve just uploaded an update (v1.02) of the VSIG Guide.  Same link as above.  Added an important introduction to the Math chapter.

I’ve uploaded v1.03 of the VSIG guide.  Added some notes about emote crashes with vmonitor and hmonitor.  Use the same link as above.

I’m now up to v1.06 of the VSIG guide.  I keep stumbling across things that crash the H9000 or Emote, and am adding comments as I go.  See the changelog for changes.

Same link as above if you would like the latest version.

        Cheers mate.

Version 1.07 is up now, in case you didn’t get it.  I added the distortion curves and some documentation on the Oscillators.
