You can connect to Emote in a number of ways. A direct ethernet connection from your computer to the H9000 does not require internet connection. You can create an access point from the H9000 using the Wi-Fi adapter and that will not require an internet connection either.

Otherwise, you will need to use a network (internet) connection.
