Hi
I try to control my TimeFactor and PitchFactor wirelessly (the X-Y pad with gyropscope is fabulous). My midi interface is a iConnectivity Midi4+ which allows for midi over a network, including WIFI when using a wifi enbaled router (I use a Apple TimeCapsule). The virtual midiports it creates on my IPad (2nd gen) are recognised by all midi-enabled apps except the H9 Control. We don’t get the “manually connect a device” prompt like on my Windows laptop (and probably on a Mac too) if a USB connection is not detected. So we cannot tell the H9 Control app where to look for the devices. Connecting to, and controlling the stompboxes over the network works flawlessly on the wifi-connected devices where we can manually choose the communication ports. This is on a iPad2 (still suits me well) and iOS9 (it cannot ugrade to higher it seems).
Is there any way to configure the iPad (or the app) so that H9 control recognises the networked midiports?
Thanks many
Dirk

So when I start H9 control on my iPad, it doesn’t find the device, and does only only allow me to use H9 Control in demo mode. When I start in demo mode, and go to the settings tab, there’s an option named “Connect Midi device to Eventide Device”. When I go there, I see my network session, and I can enable it. On the H9 midi message monitor I can see the CC’s transmitted from my stompboxes to H9 Control. So it DOES actually work, the only problem is that the iOS app doesn’t allow to choose to connect over midi as the desktop version does. What a pity! Maybe in a future update? Controlling the stompboxes over Wifi (given you have a networked midi interface such as the iConnectivity devices) would be so nice!
Thanks for your attention

Here’s H9 Control running in demo mode on a iPad receiving midi from a TimeFactor over WiFi (screenshot)
