I see this topic has been covered before in the forum, I did my research and tried the solutions offered but can’t seem to get my H9 working with an external footswitch for tempo control.
I tried TS or TRS footswitches, mapped the Expression Jack as Aux Switch in H9 Control and set Tap Tempo to either 1 (Tip), 2( Ring) or 3 (Tip + Ring). no go.
If I set the internal footswitch on Tap Tempo (holding it for 2 seconds) it works, the led starts blinking and I can tap my tempo (which gets transmitted via MIDI clock to the rest of the devices in the MIDI chain), but I can’t make it work with an external one.
Ideas?
