Hello, I am looking a solution to a technical problem.

I am saxophonist and playing with a trumpetist in a group. We
      are playing live brass section.

I am currently using the Mixing Link with my saxo and a H9
stompbox. I am looking a way of sending to the H9 the saxophone signal or the
trumpet signal or trumpet+sax signal. A sort of A/B and A+B Switcher.

The sax microphone is going out with a JACK and the Trompet
      microphone use a XLR

1st solution : is it possible to do it with the Mixing Link ? I
have seen that the MXLK could be use as a A/B switching Box. How is it possible to balance the mix between the tp and sax signal before the stombox ? Is it possible to send only one of the two signal or
both signals to the H9 ?

2nd solution : I use the MXLK only as a A/B box for the
trumpet signal (A to the PA system / B to the effect Stompbox). But I have to
find a way to mix the Saxo signal and the trumpet signal (coming from the B)
before going in the H9 stombox. Do you think it could work ? What could be
      the solution ?

3rd solution : I could use something like that (http://throneroompedals.com/product/push-to-talk-box/)
to send the trumpet signal toward A/the PA system or B/ the MXLK’s MIC IN. The
sax could go in the MXLK’s INST IN. But what could be the solution to balance
the level between the trumpet and sax signal in the MXLK ?

      Hi Stax,

Finally getting to this… maybe you found a solution by now. In any case… it's a bit difficult to understand the details of these setups to offer any advice. Can you sketch and upload a diagram/s.

      thanks
