I see “fatsine” listed in the modulation options for an H90 algorithm, but no explanation of what that is in the documentation. Anyone know what this is?

I always assumed it was a sine waveform that spent more of its time at the peak.  But I never did scope it out in a waveform editor, so this is pure speculation on my part.

That makes sense. Thanks for chiming in.

      From the H9 manual:

FAT SINE – “Fat” sine wave that spends more time near its minimum and maximum values. This waveform sounds similar to SINE, but with slightly more throb.

PHAT SINE – An even “fatter” sine wave that spends even more time at its minimum and maximum values.

Ah – didn’t think to check the H9 Manual, only looked at the H90 manual. Thanks!!

You can see all of these waveforms and more using Harmadillo with an H9.  The H9 version has a visual display.

        Great tip!

With my recent H90 / Control focus, I had forgotten all about those great ‘page 2’ graphics for some of the H9 algos in H9 Control.

That was a killer development.  The HarPeggiator one alone inspired a whole list of Presets.

I was wondering why H90 Control doesn’t offer those screens.  They were so helpful to me, especially Spacetime.   I eventually guessed that the Control apps aren’t built from scratch.  Maybe they are built with some software tool package and maybe Eventide used a new package for the H90 that package doesn’t have the same capability.

In any event, I keep the H9 app on my computer and refer to it on occasion.
