      I know … silly question, just wondering if the unit HAS TO be initialized the first time out-of-the-box, as it's powered up for the first time for it to work properly.

      I did not see anything in the manual regarding that but figured it's best to ask.

      Hi Iggs

      there is no need to reinit the unit whenbrand new out of the box.

      I would reinit it if:

      -bought used

      -been open at the shop for a while as a demo unit

      -in case of odd behaviour
