Customer Support Representative
Location: LITTLE FERRY, NJ 07643
Pay Rate: $40,000.00 – $60,000.00 Annually

Eventide is seeking a Customer Support Representative (CSR) for our line of audio hardware and software products. As a CSR you’ll be the first responder to a variety of customer technical and purchasing issues. You’ll become an Eventide product expert as you help customers solve problems and better engage with their Eventide Audio products. You’ll also work directly with the engineering team to solve harder customer issues.
Day to day tasks and responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer support emails coming in via Jira Service Desk, from the simple to the challenging.
- Monitoring Eventide forums, external forums and Facebook User Groups to direct relevant issues to support@eventideaudio.com.
- Maintaining Support Knowledge Base
- Identifying high-priority issues and broader patterns of failure and alerting engineers as necessary.
- Reaching out to engineers to alert them of high priority issues and suspected larger patterns of failure.
- Facilitating return and repair processes by acting as a liaison between customers and our operations and repairs team.
Candidate Required Skills/Qualifications
- Experience with professional audio and/or musical instrument gear and a knowledge of musical concepts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with an empathetic, patient and customer-centered approach.
- Critical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to break large problems down into reproducible steps and offer tractable solutions for each step.
Candidate Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jira Service Desk.
- Previous technical product support experience.
- Ability to work onsite in Little Ferry, NJ at least 3 days a week to start.
Actual pay is based on local market rates and candidate experience.

Audio Internship
Eventide is looking for talented individuals to work ~20-30 hrs/week in a paid in-person internship based in Little Ferry, NJ. Must be reliable, reasonable, hardworking, and curious. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to helping with marketing, user support, and working with Richard & Tony on miscellaneous tasks.
Audio Engineering Internship
Eventide Audio is seeking interns to gain hands-on experience as part of our engineering team, testing, performing research, developing products, and helping us improve our processes and infrastructure. We have a number of projects prepared across our hardware, software (plugins and applications) and digital signal processing teams, depending on the skills and interests of the applicant.
Previous interns have helped with:
- Plugin and Application Software work: plugin frameworks and UI coding tasks.
- Embedded Linux software projects: embedded frameworks, USB audio, hardware UIs.
- Investigating and developing signal processing models of analog hardware.
- Producing and publishing cutting-edge research in the audio signal processing domain (in exceptional cases).
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control testing: test setup and test automation for products in development and production.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a higher education degree in engineering or computer science (or related technical courses).
- Deep interest and passion for audio and music tech product development.
