Just purchased a PF, but am wondering what some of the default settings are for the expression pedal.
pitchbend? modulation? chord change? scale change? tempo change? etc.
Thanks!

if you look at the downloadable preset chart it shows what the expression pedal does for each preset.
BUT you can assign the expression pedal to control any of the rotary knobs and more than one.
so yes it can do PitchBend etc

Yes, I've been reading through the preset chart.
I'd like to do harmonically correct pitch-bends (after learning), and leave all the expression control of modulation and delays to my TimeFactor.
Thanks,

to do this, create a preset in Diatonic or Quadravox that you like.
Then set the expression pedal to control the pitch shift amount via
following the steps in the manual. That should get you there. -

Can you explain how you actually get the Pitchfactor to recognize a MIDI expression pedal properly?

You'll have to read the manual, I'm afraid. The LEARN feature is useful.

Yes, I posted before downloading the pdf manual.
My new unit hasn't arrived yet.
And yes, I'm mainly interested in the learn function.
Thanks,

Once you have it in learn mode (after reading the manual), you should just need to wiggle the MIDI pedal, and the unit will do the rest itself.
