If I have the timefactor connected to and controlled by an RJM Mastermind foot controller using a midi cable, can I simultaneously use an expression pedal and an auxiliary pedal connected directly to the timefactor to modify it on the fly?
You can. If you get too busy there is a risk of confusing yourself, and the response may slow down slightly.
So in this setup your recommendation is to plug the expression pedal directly into the midi controller?
Really depends on what you are trying to do.
But, you will probably get more responsive control by plugging the expression pedal directly into the 'Factor. Some trial and error may be needed.
