  What is wrong with the connection to the Frequency mod input in this patch: why won't the output of 'Peak' modulate the filter frequency?

  It works, it's just that the effect is rather subtle, and very dependent on the control settings and source material.
  
  Try the following values with full range source material and you'll get the idea .. you won't like it, but you'll hear it working.
  
  Freq 100 Mod 20000 Q 10
  
  Attack 0.5 Decay 0 Select 1

  Thanks. I will try if it possible to get 'analoge sound' from some of the other filter types.

  I would suggest you use the ADSR module to generate the envelope – after this it is mainly a matter of tuning.
