confusing 5.5 or 5.5 Beta ?

  Sorry perhaps it´s a stupid Question . I am a littlebit confused.
  
  Is this now the final 5.5 for download or the same 5.5beta like the last weeks.( because of the 5.5 "beta"-Driver Status )?
  
  In the (old?)release notes was talking about that firewire can also transmitted Midi now. In the new rellease Notes are no words about that……or was that a Day-Dream?
  
  The Vsig Soft is not ready now for 5.5 ? isn´t it?

  This is now the full V5.5 release – it incorporates all the changes in the beta with a few fixes to problems found by our beta testers.
  
  Confusingly, the driver still says beta, it should not. (AC, please note).
  
  The FireWire could always transmit MIDI (after a fashion – this has now been improved).
  
  Vsig should support 5.5, with the exception that the newer modules do not have help file entries. There will be important and good news on Vsig before too long.
