Occasionally I'm allowed to indulge myself when I have some spare time, so these were banged together yesterday. I hope you enjoy them.

WOW. that's all I can say. I wanna try the Fibonacci sequence, it's so cool. Also I'm lovin the drive pedal. It sounds so awesome! Was it a Dumble type pedal?

Thanks! I actually posted two videos (here) but maybe there's a '1 only' rule per post or something. Anyway, heres the second one. Hope it gets though.

I agree with sic, that's a killer OD pedal… I'd seen those in passing, but never heard one before, sounds like it's worth some further investigation.
Thanks for the vids BK! Awesome!! Just curious, but what pickups are you using in that Strat? Great sound, great playing!!
I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that all those affected by the recent flooding are in my thoughts and prayers…

Thanks! I'm very flattered. 🙂
The Dual Lotus Drive II is a very 'Dumble-esque' drive built by the inimitable Kevin Wilson at http://www.wilsoneffects.com.
I made a demo of it late last year and teamed it, funnily enough, with a PitchFactor. So, for your viewing pleasure, I give you..

Thanks for your thoughts and kind words, Timothy. They are very appreciated.
The pickups in that Strat are custom handwound 'Burgs' by Mick Brierley, a very talented English ex-pat now living in Australia and slowly rising as a star of the boutique pickup world. Mick winds all of my pickups for me. I verbally explain what I'm looking for and he nails it every time. His pickups can also be heard in the Tele I use for many videos and also a Burny SG which I drag out every now and then. Flatteringly, he and I both have had a ton of emails asking about those pickups so he's going to release a 'Burgs' (lol) signature set, exactly the same as the ones you see here.
Mick's site is at www.brierleyguitarpickups.com.au if you're interested.
Cheers,
BK.

GREAT sounding stuff, Burger! You just inspired me to use the Fibonacci sequence for a song my band does – it'll fit perfectly in the verses!!! Nice playing too, man!

Very nice! I have to say that I liked the sequences without the hard L, R tremelo effect much better.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words! That patch is a killer, for sure. Makes it easy to be inspired!
Unfortunately I had to sell both the ModFactor and PitchFactor to pay some bills. Both devices are greatly missed but at least I can look back on those vids with fond memories. One day I hope to have the scratch for a Space so I can pick up the Eventide campaign again.
Cheers,
Brett K.

Cool vids, Is that undulator preset the one you posted a while ago? That's a standard patch on my Modfactor. Whenever I need to do something ambient I go right to it.

what is the mod factor setting? undulator?…can you share?

I'm pretty sure that's the setting he posted in another thread somewhere. It should be way back in the list of threads, probably from a year or two ago. It's a staple for my Modfactor, my go to whenever I need to play something ambient. Thanks again for that setting Burger, and also for the Phaser one that nails Breathe.
