Why has the LFO got audiotypeoutputs and not controltypeoutputs?
Control signals run at an unspecified rate, but usually 100Hz or faster. Because of this, one cannot build a meaningful oscillator with control outputs as its frequency would be entirely unpredictable. Thus, the LFO has a mod type output. This runs at a quarter of the sample rate.
Connecting an LFO to an A_TO_C is reasonable, as the LFO will maintain a constant frequency, but its update rate will be variable. Essentially, using control signals as modulators is "iffy."
The frequency inputs of the REVERSE is control type, presumably because the designers figured that fast modulation would not be useful. A PITCHSHIFT modules does have a mod type frequency input.
