In need of an up grade!

  I have an Eclipse 2.0 Trying to up grade it to a 4.0. ( I know its about time) And a MacBook pro ver. 10.6.8 Im having trouble formatting flash cards in my eclipse. Don't know if i have the right card ether. I have an ADATA 2GB flash card, and a SanDisk Ultra 30MB/s* 4 GB flash card Part # SDCFH-004G-A11
  
  It will ask me if i want to format. But when I press "format", nothing happens. Or "retry".Or its "reading card" and frizzes up.
  
  If you some one can direct me to where to get the right flash card. And the steps I need to get to ver. 4.0

  Hi,
  
  you need to format the card on a computer first, format it to FAT16…then upgrade to 3.51…then up to 4.01…
  
  Once the Eclipse is at version 4 you should be able to format it on the Eclipse.

  BMF is correct. But, don't use the 4M card (not supported before 4.0).
