Whenever the power input on my modfactor gets jiggled, the power cuts out. any advice? is this a relatively easy fix? I guess it is one of two things: a faulty input or a bad/cracked solder connection.
I'm afraid you guess correctly. If you are using the supplied power unit and the MF is still in warranty you should probably send it in (see your dealer or support@eventide.com).
Otherwise, probably cheaper and quicker to find a friend with a soldering iron.
Somewhere like Digikey will have one, but you will have to work out the correct part for yourself. It is more likely to be a broken solder joint than a broken socket.
