      Hi, I'm new to Eventide pedals and using the Factor Lib. 

      I just installed FactorLib but when I "Send to device", my time factor displays a "BAD !!" error message.

      I looked at the FAQ and it says to increase output buffer size …. how do i do this?

      Why did I get a "Bad Load" Message when restoring sysex from a computer?
      You need to increase the Output Buffer Size of your MIDI Utility to 8K. It can usually be done in the preferences of the program.

      I'm afraid that this is a feature of whatever MIDI interface you are using – you will need to contact the appropriate manufacturer.

      How do I figure this out? I am connecting straight USB to my computer from the time factor. I am unfamiliar with midi. Thanks

      Your message was "BAD!!" not "BAD LOAD", so my previous comments do not apply. It sounds like your file may be corrupted in some way. If it is vitally important, send it to support@eventide.com marked for my attention, and I'll have a look at it.
