  The new release should be out by February 1st. With any luck it might be even sooner than that. Here's a more informative video about the new algorithm:

  I also saw both of the videos a few days ago. I’m a fairly new H9(core) user. Will the new algo simply appear in the store or is there somekind of update required? It looks just my kind of thing.

    Anytime. Just use some sandpaper and a rattle can of flat black.

  That black H9 looks cool! Hopefully Eventide comes with more combined effects algos in the future. That’s the one thing I miss from the H9.
