We haven't looked into the details of the Universal Windows App, but my fear is that these Windows apps are universal b/c they are being compiled in one of Microsoft's .NET languages into some bytecode format that can run on any number of different devices. That would pose the same basic problem as Android. We'd have to port our code to a different language altogether.
