Eclipse: Operating system not found

  Hello together!
  
  I purchased a used unit and desided to run it through the tests unter the key “5” to be sure that the unit is fine. One of them was a “ROM” test. After restart I get a message “operating system not found”. What can I do not to get the unit alive again?
  
  Just for Information: in aprox. two weeks a new unit should arrive here, may be it matters.

  Many products have all sorts of undocumented functions for the use of Factory technicians. It is unwise to fiddle with these if you do not know what you are doing.
  
  But, as far as I can see, the Eclipse does not have anything fatal with which you can fiddle. So, my advice would be to follow the Web Site UPDATE instructions and see if you can bring it back to life. If not, it will have to go in for service.
