Soooo, A very wise man from Italy said others had the same sort of issues with the Roland interface, I thought I had ruled that out using the UR22MkII. Two different Win10 computers, no luck. Remembered I had a Behringer UMC1820 in a box of unused equipment. Set it up, sent a file, worked first time out. Never had a problem with the Roland with any other equipment, it sure does not play nice with the Eclipse. Interesting that it didn’t like the Steinberg either. I hope this helps someone in the future, now to get back to playing!
