I notice that files from the H9000 are saved with some numbers after the name.

      Eg. SPL Widener4_2803653618.9ka

Is there any logic to these numbers, or any way to work out the latest one.  While working in VSIG, I often upload to test using the same name, but want a quick way to work out which one is the latest.

The numbers are a crc32 checksum of the data, so bear no relationship to the “latest”.

It’s probably best to include your own timestamp in the file name.

      for example, 2205161151 would be 2022, May 16th, 11:51am

that way when you sort by filename the timestamps will sort the files by date

It would be awesome to have the ability to do that automatically from within vsig. Renaming the patch every time I tweak a parameter while testing is going to get tired real quick.
