To calibrate an expression pedal on the H90, enter the System Menu and choose I/O. On the third page of settings, we find Calibration. Setting it to ON redirects to a page instructing us to move the pedal from heel to toe. The H90 will automatically calibrate the range of expression as we move the pedal back and forth. Once we see a zero to 100 sweep range, we know things are working properly. If the sweep behaves erratically or goes up and back down again, check to make sure we’re connecting to the H90 with the appropriate cable. Some expression pedals only work with a TS cable, others use a TRS cable. always remember to connect to the expression pedal first, then to the H90 so it senses the proper load.
