Hello Eventide and Users,
I have two H90 pedals and am wondering if it is possible to edit both at the same time with H90 Control? I’m on a Mac.
I think I could run a Windows environment on my Mac and install H90 Control in windows thereby being able to run 2 instances of H90 Control to edit the two pedals simultaneously, but beyond that, is it possible just within the normal Mac environment?
Thanks in advance for the help, and thanks for the great music gear!

I found the answer to my own question, but will post here in case anyone else finds this useful.
Essentially, you can use the Mac terminal two open a second instance of the H90 Control app.
Here are the Steps:
- Go ahead and open your first instance of H90 Control (and connect to one of your H90 pedals)
- Next, open the Terminal app (generally found in the Applications/Utilities/ folder).
- in Terminal, navigate to the Eventide folder in your Applications folder. For me, this is done with the following command: cd /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/Applications/Eventide (depending on your file structure, this part may be different for you)
- Finally, typing the following command in Terminal will open a second instance of the H90 Control app: open -n H90\ Control.app
Hope this info helps someone else. (Image attached)

Glad to hear you found a solution. We haven’t tested this and it may present some issues, but if you are finding this works for your setup, that’s great!
We’re working on support for multiple devices using a single instance of H90 Control in a future update.

Thanks for this. Using Terminal I was able to open a second instance of H90 Control. I only have one H90 at the moment but I assume it will show two H90s and you just pick the one you want to connect? Is this method still working without issues? Thanks.

Yes. It works just fine. If you see the screenshot I posted above, it shows 2 H90s simultaneously connected via H90 Control.
I have actually connected 3 H90s now. Still, no issues.

Thanks for the update. Being able to run H90 Control for each H90 is huge. I did that with the Bluetooth app with my H9s but I find the USB connection to the Mac for H90 Control much more stable.

I have a second H90 on the way. Are there any issues saving presets with two H90s active? I assume I can export a preset from one H90 and import to the other one while using two concurrent instances of H90 Control? Thanks

H90 Control 1.7.1 supports connecting to multiple devices with 1 instance of H90 Control. You can copy Programs/Presets between each pedal without exporting.

I can confirm that the H90 Control app simultaneously connects and works with 3 H90 pedals without using my work-around described above.

Yes, I just got my second H90 and H90 Control works great with both of them connected and active. Copying and pasting between the two H90s is a real bonus. I will continue to use the USB connection as it is convenient for me and fast. Kudos to Eventide for this update!
