Hello! Loving my H90. Here’s something I noticed (I also sent this in via support mixed in with a bunch of other questions, but wanted to record it here as well):
With a Series routing and Kill Dry turned on for the algorithm in position A (either locally to the preset or via global), the Mix/Intensity/DirtLevel/Depth wet mix parameter seems to incorrectly mute the output as it’s dialed to 0. In a series routing, This should only be affecting whether the output that goes into algorithm B is wet or dry, not the overall output of the program. The preset A active/inactive toggle does the right thing here (if it’s inactive, the dry input signal goes to the input of algorithm B, if it’s active, the wet signal from algorithm A goes to the input of algorithm B). Wet mix parameters on algorithm A should be doing the same thing.
I should be able to mix cleanly from dry A to wet A (e.g. via an expression pedal), while keeping B fully wet. With the current behaviour this is not possible.

Hello JDrage,
Whenever Kill Dry is On, think of it as removing the dry signal entirely from the output of Preset A. Now, consider your Mix/Intensity/DirtLevel/Depth parameter is set to 50% or the mid point. What this means is that there is equal parts dry and wet signal in the output. However, because Kill Dry is ON all you will perceive is the wet portion of that mix. If you turn the Mix/Intensity/DirtLevel/Depth parameter completely counter clockwise (set it to zero), think of it as 100% dry signal, 0% Wet signal – or no output from the Preset. In essence, when Kill dry is ON for Preset A, the Mix/Intensity/DirtLevel/Depth control acts like a wet signal volume control.

If this is what you want to do then Preset A should not be set with Kill Dry ON. You can just map your expression pedal to whichever Mix/Intensity/Depth parameter you prefer.

I have Kill Dry on because my H90 is in a send/return loop of a mixer, and the bus for that is parallel to the main outputs.

Yes, this is exactly what I’m contesting. Kill Dry behaviour should be different depending on Series/Parallel routing of Presets A and B. For series routing, Kill Dry on should remove the dry signal from the output of the PROGRAM rather than Presets A and B individually. If I have Preset A and B in series, that’s what matters to avoid duplicating the dry signal. For Parallel routing, Presets A and B should individually remove their dry signals.
Does that make sense?
