H90 1.7.1 not syncing to MIDI Clock

1) If running Morningstar 3.11 firmware (maybe earlier too?), try sending a clock ‘start’ message from the MC6.

2) If running the new Morningstar 3.12 firmware, try:

a) de-selecting any one of the MIDI clock port settings (new feature in General Config),

b) save & restart MC6,

c) change that setting back again (if you don’t want/need to change it back, see step ‘e’),

d) save & re-start MC6,

e) try sending the clock ‘start’ message again.  If still no go, reboot H90, then send the clock ‘start’ message again.

I can confirm, no MIDI-Clock at all !!

Not over DIN or over USB.

I’ve tried to send the clock from cubase etc…

Sorry to hear you are having issues with MIDI clock, but I cannot reproduce this. MIDI clock is working correctly via DIN or USB on my H90 running 1.7.1.

I have the same problem.
H90 software version 1.9.10.185
Cubase elements 14.0.10 on windows

H90 is connected via USB and I’m using H90 control, everything else works fine.

I set in H90 system: tempo: midi clock, clock source: USB

In Cubase I’m checking as destination of the clock the H90 (that is correctly shown as midi device).

All the other devices I send the clock are working, only the H90 doesn’t receive any clock and it’s fixed to the latest manual tempo.

Please fix this issue, it’s really annoying.
