      Hi All,

I’ve loved my H9s for years, but the capabilities of the H90 have me ready to upgrade. I just have a question about the ability to run my effects in two different spots on my board.

For reference, my board (wet effects, in stereo): Strymon Mobius -> H9 (for modulation) -> Strymon Timeline -> Second H9 (for delay/reverb) -> Strymon Bigsky -> Amp

I’m wondering if I am able to get one H90, and wire the 4 I/Os in a way that ins and outs 1/2 are in the place of my first H9, and ins and outs 3/4 are in the place of my second H9. This would allow me to run mod effects before my delay one, and reverb effects after my delay one.

Additionally, assuming this is possible, would I then be able to map my effect choices to be in position A (I/O 1/2) or position B (I/O 3/4)?

I hope this is clear – not sure if it is for me to be honest. Hope this is possible.

      Thanks in advance!

      Hi zperry94,

Yes, this is possible with the H90. Use Dual routing mode. This way, the H90 behaves like two independent mono or stereo effects processors. On a Program basis, you’ll be able to have one or two algorithms in place of your H9-1 or H9-2, or one effect on each.

To gain a better understanding of dual mode, you may want to study this video: https://youtu.be/0G_WtfUatSc?si=o4chDWbKg1Altt5U
