H90 settings to replicate DD-3 settings?

      Hello,

      First off, please bear with me, I am an absolute noob with the H90 and I struggle with screens and menus in general 😀

      I watched a few tutorials but I cannot <span style=”font-size: inherit;”>replicate what my old Boss DD-3 could do in an instant (see picture).</span>

      Can someone help me to replicate these settings, it seems I can’t select a normal Algorithm and start a new sound. I have to start using the eventide presets.

      Sorry for the stupid question …

      Hey Br,

      I would suggest connecting to your computer via USB and using the H90 Control Software.

      It’s the ultimate way to look at the capabilities inside the H90.

      You may see things more clearly! Since I’ve owned mine, I’ve never tried to use the H90 (on the pedal) interface.

      All algorithms I’ve created have all been done on the laptop.

      indeed it is much clearer and direct. I tried via Bluetooth using an ipad buit it was not very smooth when turning knobs in the UI.

      That said It also helped a lot to understand how to navigate directly using physical knobs of the H90.

      I can give you a place to start.  Yes, load up any Preset from Delay -> Digital Delay.

      Adjust the settings on that one, rename it, and Save (To Library) as a new Preset.

      For the settings below with a range of values, adjust those by ear.

      • MIX – 10-20 [DD-3 E. Level MAX is about 50% on Digital Delay MIX]
      • DELAY MIX – A10-B10
      • DELAY A – looks to be around 500-600 mS in the DD-3 800 range.
      • DELAY B – set this to the same value as DELAY A.
      • FEEDBACK A – 15-25
      • FEEDBACK B – set this to the same value as FEEDBACK A.
      • X-FADE – 75-125 mS
      • MOD DEPTH – 0
      • MOD RATE – 0
      • FILTER – 0-20

      For the DD-3 HOLD function, you can experiment with REPEAT (L) and REPEAT (M) under the PERFORM mode.
