  yeah my MP128P still works after all these years, built like a tank.
  
  I want to connect it to my H90 but not sure if a 5 pin DIN to usb c cable will work…

  Why do you need a USB-C cable?
  
  Can’t you just use the MIDI In port on the H90?

  why do I need a USB-C cable? Other then the fact that its the only way to get MIDI data in and out of the H90 – I dont – am I getting your question correctly?
  
  Im hoping to connect the 5 pin DIN connector – very old school – to the H90… which does not come equipped with the old style connector, but instead uses a modern USB-C port

  The H90 has a 5-pin DIN MIDI input. I would suggest connecting the controller to the H90 that way.
