Hi, how are you?
I received a program pack that is set to Insert mode, but I use my pedal in Dual mode. I couldn’t import the pack because of the route type, so I changed the route type to Insert, and it worked.
Now, I’m trying to change the route type back to Dual mode, which is what I use for my own presets. However, in the H90 Control software and on the H90 display, it shows “INIT Program” and a gear symbol, and the program doesn’t work.
How can I change the route type? I have almost 30 programs, and I can’t afford to lose them.
Thanks so much!

Hello,
Programs that are created in Insert mode cannot be used in Dual mode, and vice versa.
You’ll need to recreate the programs in whichever mode you are using.
Can you be more specific about the other issue you describe? If you change your routing back to dual mode you should see all of the lists and programs that you have been using in dual mode.

Hi,
“Programs created in Insert mode cannot be used in Dual mode, and vice versa. You’ll need to recreate the programs in the mode you are currently using.”
Replying: I noticed this as soon as I made the change. Besides being a musician I’m of technology market, work with solutions for special weight, in technical segment. I am claiming that this is a problem, because the programs (which is formed by “sub single effects”), (Logically) cannot be linked to the route mode. It makes no sense to condition the effect on the route.
I know that some parameters of programs specifics how the route occurs, but I think this can’t be a problem when I change the route mode. I understand the pedal software/firmware (or control) not being able to auto adjust/configure the route properly in the other format, but it needs to show a default route and allow me to open the program and change it however I want.
If I buy programs, or get from someone, I’m have to be free to change the way I use it. It doesn’t make sense to have to recreate 26 programs or 52 “single effects”, just because their routing is different from the ones I created.
Please discuss this with your development team, the equipment is too expensive to not allow this small adjustment.– “Can you be more specific about the other issue you describe? Replying: : When switching back to Dual mode, the presets in Dual mode appear as expected. This doesn’t seem to be an issue; the presets are displayed correctly if you choose the appropriate mode.Thaks so much!

Any updates on this? I’m a recent h90 owner and love it!!! I made 70 new presets to better suit my needs. When I finally started experimenting with drives, wah, and phasers. I changed to daul routing mode so I could move them to before my amp (pre) but to my surprise all my hard work disappeared. Switched back to the default mode and there they were again. I agree with gastavo, this is a real pain to work around bc now I have to go back and re create all these fx. Wish I would’ve known this before hand. I wasted hours/days getting these programs how I wanted. This is my one and only complaint.

Hello,
The latest version of H90 Control supports converting the routing type of your lists.
You must first export your list, then change the global routing type of the H90, and then reimport the list. You will be prompted that the list will be converted upon import.
Let me know if you have any issues.
