      Hello there,

I have just updated my Eclipse to version 4.01. First I updated from V3.0 to V3.5 and then to V4.01.

I downloaded all the files from the Eventide website.

Actually everything worked fine and at the end I got the message “Cycle Power”. But when I start the device now it still shows me version 3.0.

The only thing I can see is that I have the Update Utility v1.1. I have seen that others have V2.04. How do I get to V2.04?

What I also don’t see when I restart is the message “New Software – Clear Setup?”

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Evidently things have not worked fine…

A have updated my Eclipse and probably also two steps were needed. It has been several years ago, so I do not remember details….

But IMHO you have first complete installation of 3.5 and when completed start update 4.01. It seems to me you have tried to do two steps in one step. And so everything stayed on 3.0.

So,  update to 3.5 and when asked for power cycle, do it. After that you should be on 3.5. Check it.  And repeat everything again with 4.01, if Eclipse is on 3.5.

I do not know about versions of Update Utility. Maybe it does not matter, maybe 2.04 is better. Maybe first you have to use 1.1 and later 2.04. I have used, what was downloadable on Eventide web. Nothing more.

      Hi there,

Thank you very much for your reply!

It worked at the end after I updated the bootloader.

Although I didn’t have the problems described on the website for the bootloader, I did the update.

One problem I also had was that I had to keep formatting the compact disk card, otherwise it wouldn’t work.

It’s to say that I never tried to update from 3.0 to 4.01. I always tried to update to 3.5. Nevertheless it didn’t work.
