H90 – chord movement challenge

      Hi all,

      I would like to perform a three voice chord movement accross three chords and look for help to set up quatrovox or diatonic (or alike):

       

      Chord:            1. Gm  2. D7   3. Gm

      Top voice:       G         F#        D

      Middle voice:  Bb       A         G

      Low voice:      D         C         Bb

       

      I would like to play the top voice and generate the lower two voices. In the G hungarian mode the H90 can generate the first two chords correctly. The problem lies in the middle voice of the third chord where the H90 plays a F# instead of a G. The cause of the issue is that for the first two chords the middle voice is -6 down, whereas in the 3rd chord the middle voice is -5 only.

      Any ideas how this can be solved?

      3rd one is an inversion so I’m so sure you can do that…

       

      how would the h90 know when you intend an inversion instead of the actual chord in the scale?

      I toyed around with this some, this past weekend.  The initial solution was shifting the middle voice / Pitch A(?) a degree using a HotSwitch – momentary or latch & unlatch.- for just the 3rd chord.  That can just as easily be controlled by an Aux switch, expression pedal, or MIDI (whatever’s handy).

      A temporary change of Scale may also work, but I think the playing & timing might have to be tighter.  I don’t know that this behavior is ‘wrong’ in a G Hungarian (minor) scale.  I’ll know more when I can confirm with the Scale Degree maps I put together (originally, for the PitchFactor).

      Something is bothering me about the component intervals of that chord progression you’ve spelled out.
