im kinda new to the H-9 (max) party… Not sure if this topic exists but I searched for quite a while and didn’t find a matching thread…
So the issue is that the pitchflex algorithm isn’t modulating the pitch via midi smoothly. If modulation is applied in a quicker manner the pitch will jump, making it sound choppy (not like a DT whammy).
Here’s my set up:
Expression pedal (TRS) -> The GigRig G3 (via MIDI) -> H9
I tried the exact same thing with other algorithms like the Q-Wah: works perfect! I can’t understand why this would work fine with one algorithm and be slow and choppy with another one.
I hope I’m missing something here… How can I get a smooth sweep with Pitchflex? All I wanna do is to play the “Killing in the Name of” solo 😀
