I use an ES-5 with an H90 and it works brilliantly. I have patch midi and assigns set up to change settings on the fly. One the things I’m most pleased with is I keep my H90 in perform mode but whenever I use the mute button on the Es-5 I set it to toggle select mode, so I can change patches while it is muted.

There’s so much flexibility with the H90 and Es-5 routing options you can do almost anything. I’ve had about 4-5 totally different ways to integrate it and they’ve all been good tbh. The main issue is too much tweaking and not enough playing!
