My plan was to put two pedals as inserts into my H90. A simple overdrive, and the Chase Bliss Onward. What I love about the onward is the MISO functionality, which turns a mono signal into a stereo one. So my plan was the following setup.

        In1 – Guitar

        Out 1 – Overdrive

        In 2 – Overdrive Return

Out 2 – Chase Bliss Onward

In 3/4 – Chase Bliss Onward Return

        Out 3/4 – External Reverb

However this is not possible is it?

The correct way to use pedals in the H90 inserts would be the following:

Out 3 into external pedal, out that pedal back into the H90 on In 3. Same thing for the second insert using I/O 4. This way those inserts could be moved around the H90’s signal flow at will.

Because the H90 can only have two mono or one stereo insert, there would be no way to send a mono signal and return a stereo signal for MISO functionality. You have to decide to either run the Onward in mono or stereo.
