      Hi,

      I’m setting up my H90 for a guitar rig with two external pedals as inserts. These two pedals use Return-in 3 & Return-out 3 and Return-in 4 & Return-out 4 respectively.

      The signal chain is:

Electric Guitar one into Gig Rig Three2One

Electric Guitar two into Gig Rig Three2One

Acoustic Guitar into Gig Rig Three2One

Gig Rig Three2One > into H90 input 1 > Output 2 into front of Twin Reverb – this works great.

H90 Output 2 goes to a Mixing Desk PA

When I switch from electric to acoustic guitar (using the Gig Rig Three2One to select guitar inputs) is there a way to mute output 1 in the H90 so that the acoustic guitar signal only goes to the Mixing Desk PA and not the Twin Reverb?

The work around is that I put the Twin Reverb in standby but that means fiddling around the back of the amp between guitar changes…

      Thanks.

Did you mean to say Output 1 goes to the Twin?

No, there isn’t a way to bypass Output 1 and Output 2 independently. You might need an external mute switch or volume pedal for the signal coming out of Output 1.

Just making sure: Are you using the Force Mono feature of the H90 found in the I/O section of the System menu? In this configuration it’s necessary because normally, if you connect to outputs 1&2 it makes the H90 function in stereo, not dual mono as it sounds you’re using it in your setup.

      Hi Joe,

Thanks so much for your reply (and sorry for the signal chain SNAFU!) it means I can move on and find a workaround.

I have made the change to Force Mono too, thanks.

      Cheers

      Chris
