General

I have registered my plug-ins on the Eventide website, why are they not authorizing in my DAW?

Open iLok License Manager and confirm that the plug-in license is activated to your computer or iLok USB dongle.

When I register my plug-in I get an "Invalid License key" error. Why is this?

Ensure that you have entered your License Key correctly. It will be 3 sets of 4 alphanumeric characters, like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

If you believe your License Key is entered correctly, please contact our  Support department  and we will solve the problem as quickly as possible.

Do I need an iLok USB dongle to use Eventide plug-ins?

No, Eventide's plug-ins do not require an iLok USB dongle. However, they do use the iLok Licensing system, which is installed during plug-in installation.

Support

How do I copy support information from an Eventide plug-in?

Simply right-click the Eventide logo in the plug-in and select "Copy Support Information to Clipboard". Send an email to support@eventide.com with a description of the problem and paste the copied information with your message. Please note that this function is not available on most older release versions of our plugins.

Troubleshooting

What if the plug-in doesn't show up in my DAW?

If you have installed and authorized your plug-in and it still doesn't show up in your DAW, simply go to your DAW's preferences and rescan your plug-ins.

My Eventide plug-in loads and runs fine, but I can't find the presets. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Eventide plug-ins have their own preset format, using .tide or .tidex preset files depending on the plug-in. By default the installer installs the presets to your C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Eventide\<Plug-in Name>\Presets folder on Windows, and ~/Music/Eventide/<Plug-in Name>/Presets on Mac. You can load these presets using the Preset bar in the plug-in GUI. Some DAWs have their own preset bars - Eventide's presets will not show up in this preset bar.
