        Hello
I’m studying the function before purchasing h90
As shown in the picture, I’m going to assign the drive pedals chain and the fx chain to each insert and use it. I wonder if there’s no problem.

        Additionally
To serve as a general pedal board’s rear end volume pedal
Connect the volume pedal to the vol/exp terminal to the h90 terminal
I wonder if there is no toning problem even if I use an inexpensive volume pedal

        thank you

            Hello,

The H90 has 2 mono insert paths. You can use whatever effects processors you like in either of those paths.

It’s not quite clear to me what your signal chain will be, or how you plan on integrating your audio interface. Please provide some more information if you need help understanding how you will set this up.

An expression pedal can control the input/output gain of the H90, which would work like a volume pedal at the end of your signal chain. Certain volume pedals may also be used as expression pedals, like an Ernie Ball VPJR. If you let me know which volume pedal you plan on using, I can let you know if that will work.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

First of all, thank you for your answer
I have attached a detailed plan and an official example image that was the basis of the plan

The plan is to assign a drive and fx to each insert 1/2 to change the location at will

                [insert1] h90 (out 3) – fuzz – od – dist – tonex – h90 (in 3)

I wonder if it’ll work if it’s configured like this

If possible, I wonder if the signal from h90 out is treated as a buffered signal because I need to change the fuzz position to the back of the guitar

In the case of volume pedals, if connect it to the h90 vol terminal, there is no tone loss, and if it only plays a functional role, I want to use any inexpensive volume pedals like boss fv500 so I wonder if the volume pedal connected to the volume terminal of h90 affects the overall tone

                thank you

Thanks for the additional information. The setup will work fine.

I would suggest connecting both outputs 1-2 of the H90 to your audio interface to take advantage of the H90’s stereo effects. If you just connect output 1, it will be in mono.

That volume pedal work fine, you will just connect the expression output to one of the H90’s exp pedal inputs, and then map that expression pedal to control the H90’s output gain.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I think it’s an amazing pedal
