About latency when using midi….

I just got a Disaster Area DMC-8D midi controller.

Does anybody notice the latency when using midi controller to change between two prsets (Program Change)?

And the length of latency is different when changing different alog.

If changing between some complex alog like Ultratap,the length got longer.

And the display of screen  show like below:

when changing preset

1.Ultra Tap

---

>500Hz

---

>2.Ultra Tap

or

1.Ultra Tap

---

>2000Hz

---

>2.Ultra Tap

 

etc….

 

Any help? plz….

I’m really disappointed about the latency………

Sorry – I don't really understand….

Programs do take real time to load, so you do not get an immediate response to a Program Change.

This will be slightly improved in the next version.

So…could I chage program on time ?

I mean,chage presets instantly on live performance?

 

When I change preset(using midi) between 1 and 2 for example ,the “2”effect always have a little latency and appear….
