I know Eventide are unlikely to spill any beans before it’s time, but was just hoping someone might know something about if and when any new algos might be released for the H90? It’s always exciting when they do! The last two, Aggravate and Sticky Tape, came out over a year ago now, and were mind blowing. Just wondering what we might expect next? 🙂

What would you like to see?

Sample rate reducer and bit crusher please! 🥺
I would love to get rid of certain other stompboxes that I now keep only for sample rate reduction

Can I put a request here? What I would most like to see is a baxandall pre-effect tone control in SpaceTime. I end up using the SpaceTime as a “base” slot because I’m almost always using a little delay and a little reverb but I also end up pulling a bit of lows out of my clean tone and then that takes up a slot where I might want another effect. Even a high-pass filter would be useful. Also, I gotta say, I’m not a huge fan of the overdrives in the H90. No big whoop, I got other pedals for that but as a Timmy and King of Tone person, I have a hard time getting those kind of ODs out of the device but like I say, not a big deal.

Well there are whole threads on that on here and the FB Group, both of which I’ve contributed to, but just off the top of my head, a Bode style Frequency Shifter that offers more than just the “off” and “on” states of the simple one built into Tricerachorus as the “Swirl” switch. Or a Frequency Shifter mode added to the Ring Modulator. Before anyone jumps in, I am not talking about Pitch Shifting!
You can go all out nuts with Frequency Shifters, but if you use them with extremely small upshift and downshifts panned left and right you get an absolutely amazing stereo effect that is somewhat like chorused phasey panning, but also different from anything else. They can be also be great combined with a Delay, as when put in the feedback path (again with very subtle shifts) they allow you crank the Feedback much higher than you normally would be able to before runaway oscillation, allowing for some extremely trippy effects.
Some good info on them here:

– A new POG 3 style algortithm
– A new Synth oriented algortithm
– A new granular effect
These are my two cents
Thanks

Definitely would love a granular reverb too.
One of my favourite algorithms is MangledVerb. Would be interesting to see a MangledDelay – where each time through the loop it gets the treatment of the mangle. Similar Overdrive and Wobble parameters, maybe separate A and B delays for L/R separation.

Was hoping this thread wouldn’t just degenerate into yet another list of people’s desires for the H90, although that’s fine of course.
I was more wondering IF and and WHEN it might happen? Any hints from Eventide?
