Any way to control the looper with external controls?

Is there any way to control the TF Looper knobs (Record, Play, Stop) via external controllers?

Hi Lincoln

the Looper parameters are MIDI remtable just like any other preset parameter is.

Check the user manual for this. It has an extended section with detailed info and examples.

I figured the whole mapping to externals out now…very cool.

But have you played with this on the 4.0 OS. My Eclipse is crashing like crazy when I hold a button to assign a hot key or external controller. I've done all the clearing of memory, even reloaded the OS.

Just wondering if you've notiiced the same.

I'm seeing the problem you report.

If a parameter is also a hot key and the patching is done to the hot key, it works. Doing the patching directly to the parameter itself, after pressing the PARAMETER key to enter the editing mode, crashes/freezes the unit on attempting the patching by pressing & holding its key.
