Anyone tried running Vsig on Mac via Wine?

I recently purchased an Orville because I want to develop my own FX algorithms.

I am running a Mac with Yosemite.

Encouraged by recent success getting g1 Nord Modular Editor running on Mac via wine, I decided to try Vsig.

(Wine lets you run Windows executables on Mac, Linux etc – project page is here https://www.winehq.org/)

I was able to run the installer without complaint, but when I attempted to run VSIGFILE.EXE, I ran into some errors with missings DLLs and whatnot.

I started working on this & realized it will be some legwork – various utilities need to be added to my system, etc etc. SO I thought I would first ask if anyone more experienced and savvy than I has already gone down this path?

no.

…but i have running Vsig via VirtualBox on a iMac with Yosemite. This works fine.
