Hi obiwan70-
What is the file path for the Vst folder you use for your Vsts in live? The Blackhole installer installs two .dll files:
32-bit: C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesSteinbergVST2Blackhole.dll
64-bit: C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2Blackhole.dll
Do you have Live pointing at the 32-bit file path, or did you move it to another folder that your other Vsts are in? I'm guessing that you might have moved the 64-bit version of the plug-in to a custom plug-in folder that you use for Live, in which case it won't load. You'd just have to put the 32-bit version in that folder to solve the issue.
Please let me know if that is not the case.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi obiwan,
It's important to make sure that you only install the 32 bit plug-in to your 32 bit plug-in folder, and not the 64 bit. If both plug-ins are in there it may cause confusion in Ableton and refuse to load. If you check the folder that Ableton is looking in, do you see only one copy of the UltraChannel.dll?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Greg,
I think we'll have to work this out one on one, would you mind emailing support@eventide.com and we'll make sure we get to the bottom of this?
Thanks,

September 10, 2019 at 3:45 am #152705plainsMemberIf someone else like me finds this, don’t forget to look in the exact file path tlongabaugh mentions. There will be a seperate Steinburg folder in “Program Files” not nested under “Common Files.” The .dll file won’t be there.I recently switched from Pro Tools — which never had as problem finding all my plugins on its own, to Ableton. It took a little doing to get my VST2 Plugins found. I ended up setting up: C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinberg as my “VST2 Plug-in Custom Folder” and moved all my .dll files over there. They showed up in Ableton Live and worked after that. There might be a less convoluted way to solve this problem, but this worked for me.
